Step by Step we are intented to bringing you the Biographies of all the Trance artist that we consider they are in the top of the trance scene, for this reason all weeks we will put on the site 2 or 3 biographies, and today in Solotrance we present you the biography of 2 men that in Spain until recently they were not known until the point that in many diffusion media they believed that Mark Norman was a single Dj and producer.

Mark Norman´s Biography:

Mark Norman is fast becoming recognized as the latest in a long line of Dutch production maestros to take the scene by storm. These two young talented guys, Mark de Jong and Norman Lenden, recently signed a contract with Tiësto's 'Black Hole Recordings' and joined the team of quality top producers and dj's like Cor Fijneman, Ton T.B., Oliver Lieb, Filterheadz and Mr. Sam & Fred Baker. They aim to bring us more of the excellent productions we have already heard from them and follow in the footsteps of Tiesto himself.

Mark Norman joined BPM Dance in the year 2000. With releases on the Jinx and Silver Premium labels they had consistent support from the likes of Tiësto and Marco V amongst others and they recently received the price 'Talent of the year 2003' at the Dutch DJ Award.
One of their biggest releases yet, 'Overkill' was played by almost every artist and became a huge success.

They have also reached several number 1 positions in the Dutch dance charts with releases such as 'Overkill', 'Total Seduction', 'Faith' and their latest 'Phantom Manor'. They made several remixes and in the near future collaborations with other artists are expected. Mark Norman's first release on Black Hole Recordings "Stream" was a huge hit and was played by dj's all over the world. The second release, "Phantom Manor/Rush" was released in May 2004 next to their first mix compilation "In Trance We Trust 9". As a DJ, Mark Norman regularly performs at events and festivals worldwide like Trance Energy early 2004, Mystery Land and Defqon 1. With their typical Mark Norman sound they aim to create an energetic and emotional atmosphere to rock any crowd. Mark Norman also did an exclusive one hour deejay set at the Dutch DJ Award 2003 party at Hotel Arena. Currently working on continuing several remixes and collaborations with well known artists as well as managing their busy DJ Performance schedule. 2004 was a good year for Mark Norman, at the end of 2004 they received the Dutch encouragement price "Friessche Popprijs".
2005 will even be bigger for Mark Norman, as well on the production side as well on the dj side.
