El nueve de Marzo, martes,
a las 6 de la tarde tuvo
lugar uno de los eventos más importantes a
nivel cultural y de sociedad en USA,
la entrega de los Dancestar
awards 2004, en los que la música
electrónica y el trance como parte de ella
tienen una importante representación, había
todo tipo de nominaciones como pueden ser las de :
Paul Van Dyk,
Gabriel & Dresden,
BT,
Armin van Buuren,
Paul Oakenfold o Ferry
Corsten.
Unos premios que la mayoría de los países
importantes dentro de la industria musical suelen
tener, cada uno con diferente nombre, y que es otro
indicador de lo lejos que estamos en este país
(donde se reparten los premios entre amigos y siempre
los mismos) del resto del mundo.
Uno de los grandes triunfadores de la noche junto
con The crystal method,
Moby o John
Digweed fue el para muchos idolatrado Paul
van Dyk, ganador de 3
premios de los 5 a los que estaba nominado,
estos premios fueron el de
mejor dj internacional, mejor
contribución a un anuncio publicitario
y mejor evento
(Paul van Dyk at Summerstage
2003, en New York).
Fue una tarde de espectáculo y actuaciones,
con shows en vivo de gente como Moby
y la colaboración del mismo Paul,
Moby
el cual fue galardonado con el premio al artista que
más ha contribuido este año al desarrollo
exterior de la música dance americana, desde
